  3. 계율(戒律)을 제대로 지키지 않는 스님들을 통제 할 수 있다.

       Controlling unruly monks, and monks not abiding Vinaya Rules. 

 

  4. 계를 존중하여 평온하게 사는 승가가 되게 한다.

       Letting sangha who respect sila to live in comfort. 

 

  5. 현생의 위험으로부터 보호받는다.

       Guarding and protecting against dangers in present life.

 

  6. 내생(來生)의 위험(危險)이 사라진다.

      Perishing dangers in future life.

 

  7. 불법을 믿지 않는 사람들에게 믿음을 준다.

       Bringing belief to people who do not believed in Sasana yet.

 

  8. 불법을 믿는 사람들에게는 신심(信心)을 더욱 깊게 한다.

       Enhancing belief in people who had already believed in Sasana.

 

  9. 불법(佛法)이 오래가게 한다.

       The long term establishment of Sasana.

 

10. 계율을 더욱 존중하고 고취․고양시킨다.

       Enhancement of Vinaya Rules.
